So as I’m sure you’ve guessed, my name is Nick Westcott and I have been working as a Web Designer for the past 9 years.

I currently work as a middleweight designer for one of the top technology agencies in the UK, The Perform Group. I have been working in this position for 3 years. I have been lucky to work on many exciting projects with leading brands such and organisations as The Football League, Virgin, The WTA, FIBA Basketball, Volvo, Racing UK and Glasgow Rangers to name a few. As the lead designer on several of these projects I have acquired significant experience on both small and larger, more intricate site designs.

Driven by a passion for design, I thrive on creating sites that not only exceed the client’s needs and functionality but are ultimately, aesthetically exciting. I have a wealth of experience working with extensive brand guidelines but in addition being involved in the initial concepting of creative ideas.

I am well versed in working with Information Architect’s, using functional specs, wireframes, and liaising with client’s directly or working in tandem with an Account Manager. Never one to stand still I am constantly learning and adding to my skill set and experience to stay ahead in today’s fast paced environment.

All in all, I have been flattered to have been told that I am a strong, valuable member of any team who thrives on the daily challenges that working as a designer throws at you. I am one of the lucky ones who have found their niche and thoroughly enjoy their work, this helps me to complete every project with an honest smile on my face.
